Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Eligible for: Full reimbursement less handling charges
Time to Process: 5-7 working days
Handling Fee: €50 for credit card dealings
Requirements: Must be submitted in documented form via email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half the cost of the total charter
Time to Process: 7-10 working days
Handling Fee: €25 taken from refund amount
Requirements: A cogent reason is necessary; admin costs incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No refund will be provided
Exception: Consideration for unexpected circumstances may occur
Alternative: Credit for a future charter may be granted at the discretion of the management
Requirements: Emergency situations must be substantiated with proper documents
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment to Safety
Your security is paramount to us. If our experts and the captain deem weather conditions too hazardous for charter operations, we offer adaptable alternatives:
- Complete Refund: Offered if rescheduling the charter is unattainable
- Change of Date: We will shift your cruise to another open slot without extra charges
- Voucher for Charter: A voucher viable for one year from the date of the original charter
Procedure for Assessing Weather
We carry out a detailed weather review that encompasses:
- Analyzing the speed and the course of the wind
- Evaluating the wave height and maritime current conditions
- Forecasts on visibility and precipitation
- Notices and alerts from the Coast Guard
- A thorough safety review by the qualified captain
Timing for Decision: We make decisions on weather-induced cancellations at most 4 hours before the charter is scheduled to commence.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Special Circumstances
We are aware that unforeseen medical urgencies can arise. Such instances that might fall under special consideration include:
- Sudden affliction or injury that necessitates hospital care
- Fatality within the immediate kin
- Unanticipated military summoning or orders
- Summons for jury duty or a legal proceeding
- Catastrophes that thwart your travel plans
Requirements for Documentation
For your emergency refund to be processed, the following credentials are required:
- Medical certification or hospital-related papers
- Official documents in case of a family demise
- Military orders that are formally documented
- Notice for a court appearance or a summon for jury duty
- Emergency advisories or statements of a calamity
Processing: Upon provision of the suitable documents, refunds for emergencies will be handled in 3-5 business days.
Operational Cancellations
Technical Failures
In scenarios where the assigned boat encounters technical glitches that cannot be immediately fixed:
- Substitute Boat: Efforts will be made to supply an adequate alternative
- Fully Reimbursed: Made when no comparable boat is at hand
- Partial Reimbursement: Issued if the alternative boat has a different fare
- Compensation: Additional reparations might be contemplated due to the inconvenience
Unavailability of Crew
In the infrequent event that we cannot provide certified crew:
- Efforts will be made to secure a replacement crew when feasible
- Complete reimbursement if the cruise must be abandoned
- Alteration to another schedule at no additional fee

Original Payment Methods
All refunds will be returned using the initial mode of payment:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days
Fees for Processing
Transaction Processing for Credit Card
€50 charge for cancellations made more than three days ahead
Processing for Bank Transfer
€25 charge on all refunds through bank transfer
Processing for Overseas Transactions
Extra costs can be applicable for transactions made internationally
Issuing Credits for Charters
Conditions for Granting Credits
In particular cases, charter vouchers might be presented as alternatives to reimbursements:
- Cancellations made close to the charter date
- Cancellations due to adverse weather
- Voluntary changes to booking dates
- Disruptions related to operational aspects
Policy on Credit
- Validity Period: Credits are valid for 12 months following the issue date
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to another entity
- Monetary Value: Corresponds to the entire cost of the charter, exempt from fees
- Applicability: Can be used for any available future charters
- Expiry: Credit notes cannot be extended beyond a year
Refunds for Partially Utilized Services
Interrupted Services
If your boating experience is curtailed or interrupted under our control:
- Refund calculated based on the unutilized period
- A credit equivalent to a future charter of identical value
- Complimentary services or possible upgrades
Cancellations Due to Guest Conduct
Should the charter be brought to an early halt due to the behavior of the guests or breach of safety norms:
- No repayment for the remaining period
- Payment in full is obligatory
- Supplementary charges may be applicable
Resolving Disputes
In the event of a disagreement regarding a refund, one can:
- Request that our management revisits the decision
- Hand over further proof or documents
- Seek assistance from consumer advocacy groups
- Consider legal action in compliance with prevailing laws

Your refund submission should contain:
- Confirmation code from your reservation
- Date and hour of the yacht reservation
- The basis for the termination

Step 3: Our Assessment and Action
Our staff will acknowledge your refund application within a day's time, evaluate it in line with this policy, respond within two days, and proceed with the approved reimbursements as per the specified time frames.
Crucial Remarks
- All refund requests should be made in written form
- Refunds will be processed in €, independent of the initial currency used for payment
- We strongly suggest obtaining travel insurance
- Alterations to this policy will be communicated 30 days in advance
- Refunds will adhere to the relevant tax laws and statutes
